Fund Started to Aid PA-WagN Steering Committee Member After Loss of Her Husband

A Fundme account has been set up to assist the family of Steering Committee member Chris Wise who recently lost her husband and farming partner, John Favinger. Donations will help the family with medical and funeral services from www.sorensenfuneralhome.com/why-us as well as farming expenses for the coming season.

Friends of Farmers Christine Wise and John Favinger have established this fund to help Chris continue organic farming and operating the CSA at Friends Farm in Williamsburg, PA, despite John`s passing. The hope is that this will allow Friends Farm to sustain the legacy that Chris and John started for the community. Additionally, this fund is to help defray funeral and medical costs from John`s long battle with cancer.
