Easter Egger Started Pullets

14 week old Easter Egger pullets will be coop or pasture ready. They will be be available on August 31, 2022. These Easter Eggers have been selected by the breeder for color, egg size, and feed conversation. In this group there will also be an occasional Whiting True Blue mixed in. The Whitings are a prolific layer of large blue eggs.

• 280 –  300 large/extra large eggs per year
• 85% will be blue/green – 15% will be light brown or cream color
• Consume approximately 4.3 ounces (122 grams) of feed each day per hen

Easter Eggers will not breed true.

They should start to lay between 20 and 24 weeks of age, but every group of pullets are different. The day-old Easter Egger chicks were sourced from Hillside Hatchery. The Whiting True Blue were hatched by Badger’s.

Easter Egger Pullet availability – Jan 1, 2021 through February 2, 2021 while inventory lasts. Price will change with age. All pullets are pick up. Local delivery with 30 miles of Hughesville may be available for additional fees for quantities of 50 or more. Shipping through the mail is never an option (don’t ask).
